आपण शुद्ध पाणी म्हणुन,बाटलीतले पाणी विकत घेतो.बाटलीबंद पाणी विक्री व्यवसाय करणार्‍या बोगस कंपन्यांचा सुळसुळाट झाला आहे. या कंपन्या दररोज साधारणपणे ७० ते ८० हजार लिटर पाणी खपवितात. अशुद्ध पाण्याचा हा ‘बाजार’ म्हणजे लोकांच्या जीवाशी खेळच आहे.प्रत्येक जिल्ह्यात अशा बोगस कंपन्या कार्यरत आहेत. त्यांच्याकडून एक लिटरपासून २० लिटर पाणी विक्री व्यवसाय जोरात सुरू आहे. अशा बोगस कंपन्यांमुळे शासनाचा लाखो रुपयांचा महसूल बुडत आहे.
शुद्धतेसाठीच्या चाचण्या
सँड फिल्टरेशन ः टाकीत पाणी सोडून वाळूच्या साहाय्याने गाळ बाजूला करणेकार्टरेज फिल्टरेशन ः पाण्यातील सूक्ष्म माती व इतर अनावश्यक कण बाजूला करणे.
रिव्हर्स ऑसमॉसिस ः विहीर, कूपनलिका किंवा काही ठिकाणी नदीच्या पाण्यातही मोठ्या प्रमाणात क्षार असतात. तसेच विविध नैसर्गिक धातूंचे पाण्यात मिश्रण झालेले असते. ते क्षार आणि धातू पाण्यातून काढून टाकले जातात.
ओझोनायझेशन ः पाण्यावर ओझोनायझेशन किरणांचा मारा करून त्यातील जीवाणू आणि विषाणू मारले जातात.
- वरील सर्व प्रक्रिया केल्यानंतर पाणी खरोखर शुद्ध झाले का, याची खात्री करण्यासाठी मिनरल वॉटर प्लँटमध्ये प्रयोगशाळा असावी लागते. तेथे केमिस्ट व मायक्रो बॉयालॉजिस्ट असावे लागतात. त्यांनी प्रयोगशाळेत पाणी शुद्ध झाल्याची खात्री केल्यानंतरच ते विक्रीसाठी बाटलीबंद करायचे असते.
