नुकत्याच प्रकाशित झालेल्या एका पुस्तकामध्ये जगाला आपली ताकद दाखवून देण्यासाठी अमेरिकेने अण्वस्त्रांनी चंद्राला उडवून देण्याची योजना आखल्याचा खळबळजनक दावा करण्यात आला आहे. १९५० च्या दशकामध्ये चंद्रावर मानव पाठवण्यासाठी सुरु असणाऱ्या शर्यतीमध्ये आपले वर्चस्व सिद्ध करण्यासाठी अमेरिकेने चंद्राचाल उडवून लावण्याची योजना तयार केली होती असा दावा ‘सीक्रेट्स फ्रॉम द ब्लैक वॉल्ट’ या पुस्तकामध्ये करण्यात आला आहे. जॉन ग्रीनवाल्ड जूनियर यांनी हे पुस्तक लिहिले असून त्यांनी हा दावा करताना काही सरकारी कागदपत्रांचा संदर्भाही दिल्याचे बीजीआर डॉट कॉमने आपल्या वृत्तात म्हटलं आहे.काही जुन्या सरकारी कागदपत्रांना गुप्त कागदपत्रांच्या यादीमधून वगळण्यात आल्यानंतर हे सत्य समोर आल्याचा दावा पुस्तकामध्ये करण्यात आला आहे. या पुस्तकामध्ये १९५० च्या दशकातील अनेक कागदपत्रांचा उल्लेख करण्यात आला आहे. ही कागदपत्रं आधी गोपनीय कागदपत्र होती. मात्र आता त्यांना गोपनीय कागदपत्रांच्या यादीमधून वगळण्यात आलं आहे.
दोन मोठ्या देशांमध्ये होती स्पर्धा
अमेरिकेने चंद्रासंदर्भात काय योजना तयार केल्या होत्या याबद्दल जॉन यांनी आपल्या ‘सीक्रेट्स फ्रॉम द ब्लैक वॉल्ट’ पुस्तकात सविस्तर महिती दिली आहे. १९५० च्या दशकामध्ये म्हणजेच दुसऱ्या महायुद्धानंतर अमेरिका आणि सोव्हिएत युनियनमध्ये अवकाश प्रवासाचीही स्पर्धा सुरु झाली होती. ही स्पर्धा अमेरिकेने आपली अपोलो मिशन चंद्रावर पाठवून जिंकली होती, असं या पुस्तकात म्हटलं आहे.चंद्राला उडवण्याचा प्रस्ताव का ठेवण्यात आला होता?
जगभरामध्ये अमेरिकेचा दबदबा निर्माण व्हावा म्हणून चंद्राला अण्वस्त्रांच्या मदतीने उडवण्याचा प्रस्ताव मांडण्यात आला होता. सन १९५९ मध्ये सोव्हिएत युनियनने अंतराळात जाण्यासाठी सुरु असणाऱ्या शर्यतीत बाजी मारल्याचे चित्र दिसत होतं. सोव्हिएत युनियनने स्पुटनिक वन ला अंतराळात पाठवलं होतं. सोव्हिएत युनियनच्या या यशनानंतर त्यांना उत्तर देण्यासाठी अमेरिकेमध्ये प्रचंड अस्वस्थता निर्माण झाली होती. त्यामधूनच चंद्राला अण्वस्त्रांच्या मदतीने उडवण्याचा विचार सुरु होता.कशासाठी होती ही योजना?
काही वेबसाईटने या पुस्ताकाचा संदर्भ देत दिलेल्या वृत्तानुसार सोव्हिएत युनियनने चंद्राला आपल्या राजकीय योजनांचा आणि सैनिक शक्तीचे प्रदर्शन करण्यासाठी वापर करण्याचा विचार केल्यास थेट चंद्रावर अण्वस्त्रांचा मारा करण्याचा विचार अमेरिकेने करुन ठेवला होता. जगभरामध्ये सोव्हिएत युनियनचे वर्चस्व निर्माण होऊ नये आणि आपलेच वर्चस्व टिकून रहावे म्हणून अमेरिकेकडून ही योजना आखण्यात आली होती.चंद्रावर २० जणांची कॉलिनी
चंद्रावरच एक कायम स्वरुपी बेस बनवण्याचाही अमेरिकेचा इरादा होता असं या पुस्तकात म्हटलं आहे. असं केल्याने जगभरात अमेरिकेची मान उंचवली असती आणि चंद्रावर बेस निर्माण करणारा तो जगातील पहिला देश झाल्याने अमेरिकेला खूप फायदा होईल असं त्यावेळी मानलं जात होतं. या योजनेला प्रोजेक्ट होरायझन असं नाव देण्यात आलं होतं. पाच रॉकेटच्या मदतीने चंद्रावर काही सामान पाठवून तिथे बेस निर्माण करण्याची अमेरिकेची योजना होती. या योजनेच्या प्रस्तावामध्ये १९६६ पर्यंत या चंद्रावरील बेसमध्ये २० जणांची कॉलिनी राहू शकते असं म्हटलं होतं.हे खरचं घडलं असतं तर
मात्र सोव्हिएत युनियनच्या आधी अमेरिकेने चंद्रावर पहिलं पाऊल ठेवलं आणि ही योजना केवळ कागदावरच राहिली. ही योजना प्रत्यक्षात अंमलात आली आहे. जर ही योजना प्रत्यक्षात आली असती तर हा मानवी इतिहासातील एक विचित्र वैज्ञानिक अपघात ठरला असता असं जुन्या कागदपत्रांपैकी एका संदर्भामध्ये नमूद करण्यात आलं आहे.▪️आजही अमेरिकेची तयारी सुरु आहे
