दर शुक्रवारी आपल्या देशात कोणताही नवीन चित्रपट प्रदर्शित केला जातो. पण शुक्रवारीच का नवीन चित्रपट प्रदर्शित केला जातो याचे कारण तुम्हाला माहीत आहे का?
१९५०च्या अखेरीस भारतात शुक्रवारी चित्रपट रिलीज कऱण्याची पद्धत सुरु झाली. ५ ऑगस्ट १९६०मध्ये शुक्रवारी मुगल-ए-आजम हा चित्रपट रिलीज करण्यात आला होता. मुगल-ए-आजमला मिळालेले यश पाहता नवीन चित्रपट शुक्रवारी रिलीज करण्याची पद्धत सुरु झाली. त्याकाळी भारतात कलर टीव्ही नव्हता. त्यानंतरही चित्रपट शुक्रवारी प्रदर्शित करण्यास सुरुवात झाली. तसेच अधिकाधिक लोकांनी चित्रपट पहावे यासाठी मुंबईतील कंपन्यांमध्ये शुक्रवारच्या दिवशी हाफ डे देण्यात येत असे. तसेच यामागे आणखी एक कारणही आहे. शनिवार आणि रविवार या दोन दिवसात कार्यालयांना तसेच शाळांना सुट्टी असते. त्यामुळे बॉक्स ऑफिसवर कमाई चांगली व्हावी या उद्देशाने चित्रपट शुक्रवारी रिलीज करण्यात येत असे.♍

The practice of releasing films on Fridays began in India in the late 1950s. The movie Mughal-e-Azam was released on Friday, August 5, 1960. Following the success of Mughal-e-Azam, the process of releasing the new film on Friday began. There was no color TV in India at that time. Even after that, the film started showing on Friday. Also, half day was given on Fridays in companies in Mumbai so that more and more people could watch movies. There is another reason for this. Offices and schools are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Therefore, the film was released on Friday with the aim of earning good money at the box office
