 छत्रीचा आकारात कोसळणारा हा धबधबा

 छत्रीचा आकारात कोसळणारा हा धबधबा नाशिक शहरापासून ५० कि.मी. अंतरावर आहे.जवळच असलेल्या पुलावरून हा छत्रीचा आकाराचा धबधबा पाहता येतो. हा धबधबा ही महाराष्ट्रातील इतर काही धबधबा प्रमाणे फक्त पावसाळा तच धबधबा याचे सौंदर्य खुलून येतं. भंडारदरा हे नाशिकपासून ७० कि.मी. वर असणारे निसर्गरम्य ठिकाण आहे .

भंडारद-याचे खरे सौंदर्य हे पावसाळयानंतर अधिक खुलते, भंडारदरा धरणाच्या खालील बाजूंला हा धबधबा आहे. हा धबधबा ४५ मीटर उंचीवरून खाली कोसळतो. त्यामुळे हे दृश्य सुंदर असून सुध्दा भीतीदायक वाटते. हा धबधबा पाहण्याकरिता पर्यटकांसाठी सुरक्षित सोय केली आहे. गिर्यारोहणाची आवड असणाऱ्यांना भंडारद-यापासून कळसूबाई शिखर खूपच जवळ आहे.

महाराष्ट्रातले उंच असणारे हे शिखर समुद्रसपाटी पासून १,६४६ मीटर उंच आहे. हा भाग दाट जंगल-झाडींनी वेढलेला आहे. विविध प्रकारचे वन्य प्राणी व पक्षी येथे सहजपणे आढळतात. रस्ता घनदाट जंगलातून जात असल्यामुळे गिर्यारोहकांनी स्थानिक वाटाडयांची अथवा पुस्तकांची मदत घेतलेली अधिक चांगली. जवळ अमृतेश्वर देऊळ आहे.

पावसाळयात ह्या भागात संपूर्णत: धुके असते. तसेच घाटघर कडे जाणारा रस्ता खाचखळग्यातून जाणारा निमूळता रस्ता आहे. त्यामुळे चालक रस्ता चुकण्याची शक्यता अधिक आहे. भंडारदरा येथे महाराष्ट्र पर्यटक मंडळाने राहण्याची व जेवण्याची उत्कृष्ट सोय केली आहे. मंडळाची रहाण्याची सोय तळयाकाठी असल्यामुळे पर्यटकांना आकर्षित करते. राहण्याची सोय दूरध्वनी (६२८१६९, ६२६८६७) वरून होऊ शकते. आता काही खाजगी हॉटेल्सची सोय सुध्दा उपलब्ध आहे.

भंडारदारा येथे तुम्हाला उच्चप्रतीची राहण्याखाण्याची सोय कदाचित मिळणार नाही पण निसर्गाचा आनंद मात्र मनमुराद लुटता येईल.♍

Bhandardara near Nashik is on the lower side of the dam. 

 This waterfall falls in the shape of an umbrella and is 50 km from Nashik city. This umbrella shaped waterfall can be seen from the nearby bridge. This waterfall, like some other waterfalls in Maharashtra, opens up only in the rainy season. Bhandardara is 70 km from Nashik. Upstairs is a scenic spot.

The true beauty of Bhandardara is that it opens more after the monsoons, the waterfall is on the lower side of Bhandardara dam. The waterfall falls from a height of 45 meters. So even though this scene is beautiful, it feels scary. It is a safe place for tourists to see the waterfall. For those who love mountaineering, Kalsubai peak is very close to Bhandarad.

It is the highest peak in Maharashtra at 1,646 meters above sea level. This part is surrounded by dense forest. A wide variety of wild animals and birds are easily found here. Since the road passes through dense forest, it is better for the hikers to take the help of local guides or books. Nearby is the Amruteshwar Temple.

During the monsoon season, the area is completely foggy. Also, the road to Ghatghar is a steep road through a ditch. So the driver is more likely to miss the road. The Maharashtra Tourist Board has made excellent accommodation and meals at Bhandardara. The boarding accommodation attracts tourists as it is located at the bottom of the lake. Accommodation can be arranged by telephone (628169, 626867). Now some private hotels are also available.

At Bhandardara, you may not get high quality accommodation but you can enjoy nature to the fullest.
